This is a piece I made many moons ago, when I was having a less than stellar time in my life. It is made entirely out of scrap that was laying around my workshop and now lives on the wall in our bathroom. For me, the process and act of working with my hands daily, is what keeps me on the “straight & narrow”. Seeing this piece, daily, in these times, is a reminder to just keep on, keeping on. Doesn’t matter if I’m metalsmithing, baking, knitting or gardening. I’m a Maker and I’m going to keep on making to help me stay sane and weather our current situation. Swipe to see a close up of what it says.
